Ethics, manners, and coping with annoying individuals

Kindness and generosity are qualities to be desired and pursued. At the same time, emotional health demands boundaries. Hopefully your life is free from an acquaintance who will suck you dry, but such people walk among us and will intrude with insidious subtlety.

For many people this statement falls into the category of belief. For me, personal experiences along with a considerable amount of study makes my declaration as close to truth as anything else I might say. Of course, differing concepts about the nature of a divine creator are debated by the most scholoarly theologians of many religions and denominations. For those who practice their belief, such knowledge is a factor in shaping character.
